Westside Auto was wonderful. We lost our transmission on a Doctor's trip to Santa Monica. We had to leave the car at the transmission repair specialists, two hundred miles away from home. My elderly landlord had not driven his cars in several years and they were just rotting away in the driveway. We called Westside Auto Recycling because of all the great comments on this website. In less than an hour, Donnie was here with a tow truck and our unsightly problem disappeared! Donnie was one of the nicest people I've done business with in a very long time -- he explained everything very patiently, helped with the paperwork and was extremely courteous. Even though the cars were junk, he was very sweet, knowing that they represented a lot of history and freedom to an older person who can't drive any more and that it was somewhat emotional for him to see them hauled off. We had an older model car, not running, and sitting in our drive way. Every one we spoke to, could not be bothered. They said, it was either too old, too this, or too that. Then a neighbor told my wife about this company. One call and our headache went bye bye. They came out the same day and, took it away. This company, was polite, prompt, and very organized. The driver helped my wife unload all the junk in the car, and bring into the garage. Highly recommend.

Our daughter is attending college in Los Angeles < UCLA > ($$$) and we are living in Illinois. Last week she wrecked her car (second time) and was towed to the Auto Club. They gave her the phone # for these guys. We called them, and they walked us through the removal and disposal process. As we are 2,500 miles away, this was a great relief. Every thing was done in good faith, sending the paper work, and receiving their check in the mail. It was really a pleasure to do business this way.
