Excellent experience with Westside Auto Recycling. My old car failed smog inspection - a gross polluter - so it needed to be taken off the road. They came and towed it away for me, and gave me a fair price for the car. Courteous and professional. Recommended. - May 14, 2010

Impeccable customer service. Rolled my Jeep and totaled it, the police tow and impound cost nearly $300 for two days storage. I should have called West Side Auto Recycling immediately instead. They came to the impound garage, towed the Jeep to their location and stored it all for free while I waited for the title to be mailed and the insurance adjusters to look at the car. Then gave me a fair price to salvage my totaled car. Donnie and the rest of the guys were very friendly, helpful and punctual. Some of the best customer service I've received anywhere! Westside Auto was wonderful. We lost our transmission on a Doctor's trip to Santa Monica. We had to leave the car at the transmission repair specialists, two hundred miles away from home. It was too expensive to repair. We found Westside Auto, they came and picked up our "large Paperweight" for us. Not only that we received cash for it, too. They made a very bad situation bearable. My elderly landlord had not driven his cars in several years and they were just rotting away in the driveway. We called Westside Auto Recycling because of all the great comments on this website. In less than an hour, Donnie was here with a tow truck and our unsightly problem disappeared! Donnie was one of the nicest people I've done business with in a very long time -- he explained everything very patiently, helped with the paperwork and was extremely courteous. Even though the cars were junk, he was very sweet, knowing that they represented a lot of history and freedom to an older person who can't drive any more and that it was somewhat emotional for him to see them hauled off. We had an older model car, not running, and sitting in our drive way. Every one we spoke to, could not be bothered. They said, it was either too old, too this, or too that. Then a neighbor told my wife about this company. One call and our headache went bye bye. They came out the same day and, took it away. This company, was polite, prompt, and very organized. The driver helped my wife unload all the junk in the car, and bring into the garage. Highly recommend.

Our daughter is attending college in Los Angeles < UCLA > ($$$) and we are living in Illinois. Last week she wrecked her car (second time) and was towed to the Auto Club. They gave her the phone # for these guys. We called them, and they walked us through the removal and disposal process. As we are 2,500 miles away, this was a great relief. Every thing was done in good faith, sending the paper work, and receiving their check in the mail. It was really a pleasure to do business this way.
